Somewhere, David, I know you are dancing with strong steps and graceful footfalls

I will miss your tender heart, sweet spirit, and great sense of humor. I know you are enjoying your special garden and someday you can show me all of the beauty and splendor.

Daveed--

May your spirit dance through my hands into form, for all to see and love.

To David - I will miss your stories & how your eyes lit up when you told them. You really surprised me with some of them. :)You made one feel like they were there with you. Be at peace my dear friend.

I'm so sorry to find out about his death just after finding out more of his life.

I knew David at OSU when I was just starting my own work in liturgical arts studies; I'm currently doing some work on Weidman, and hadn't realized David had studied with him.

David took time to listen to me prattle on and on about dance when I was just beginning my dance history studies, and was always so encouraging. I'm glad to know he also became involved in liturgical works; I wish I had been able to connect again before his death.

David became a dear friend while my wife and I attended Glade Church for a period of time. It was a joy to share David's experiences through stories he would tell as I took him to appointments, etc. He was a very special individual, and I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing.
